XEY LABS — THE LOG / 001 ID/ EN/ 中文/ 日本語/ 한국어 ← LOG LAB GITHUB ↗

Hello, lab.

This is post 001, which by definition makes it the oldest thing we have ever shipped. Fitting — because it is also the whole thesis in miniature: start small, put it in public, improve it in the open.

XEY Labs is an independent research and technology lab. No deck, no roadmap theater, no stealth mode. Just a small team with a short loop between idea and artifact. We run experiments on tools, protocols, and interfaces — and when something sticks, it becomes a project you can read, clone, and break.

What you'll find in this log

  • Writeups of experiments, including the ones that fail. Especially those.
  • Notes on the boring, durable technology we pick and why.
  • Prototypes, released before they feel ready. That's the point.

If it can't be shared, it isn't done. That's not a slogan — it's a build constraint. Everything here ships with its mistakes visible, because the mistakes are the useful part.

We don't know yet exactly what this lab becomes, and we think that's the honest way to start. What we do know: the repo is the record, the log is the receipt, and the door is open.

Follow along on GitHub. Poke at the work. Tell us what's broken.
